Loewe S.A. (/loʊˈɛveɪ/ loh-EV-ay, Spanish: [loˈeβe], German: [ˈløːvə]; stylized as LOEWE) is a Spanish luxury fashion house renowned for its leather goods, clothing, perfumes, and fashion accessories. Established in Madrid in 1846, it became part of the LVMH group in 1996, making it the oldest luxury brand under the conglomerate's umbrella. Founded by fashion designer Enrique Loewe, the company gained widespread attention by the early 20th century, attracting notable figures, including Queen Victoria Eugenie, who became a regular customer. In 1905, King Alfonso XIII granted Loewe the Royal Warrant, naming it the Purveyor to the Royal Household of Spain. As the brand grew in popularity, it was championed by famous personalities such as Ernest Hemingway, Ava Gardner, Rita Hayworth, Marlene Dietrich, and Sophia Loren.
