MISBHV, pronounced "misbehave," is a Polish streetwear label founded in 2014 by Natalia Maczek. While its origins trace back to 2007 when Maczek, then a law student, began a side project creating counterfeit designer t-shirts with her partner Tomek Wirski, the brand officially launched in 2014. Initially producing items for friends in the Kraków club scene, MISBHV quickly gained traction, showcasing its first collection at a Paris showroom in 2015 and subsequently participating in New York Fashion Week. The brand's aesthetic is deeply rooted in the post-socialist Polish hip-hop and club cultures, incorporating a DIY sensibility and influences from European rave culture, 1990s disco, and motorcyclist style. Its designs have been inspired by artists like Jean Arp, Andy Warhol, and Paul Cézanne. MISBHV has achieved international recognition, with its clothing featured in Grand Theft Auto and worn by celebrities like Rihanna. The brand's Kraków headquarters are located in a renovated cable factory.
