Mowalola is a fashion brand headed by Mowalola Ogunlesi, a fashion designer. Ogunlesi, a graduate of Central Saint Martins in menswear and print, launched her namesake label with her graduate collection, *Psychedelic*, in May 2017. This collection drew inspiration from Nigerian psychedelic rock, and her design philosophy reflects a pan-African aesthetic, celebrating culture, sexuality, and desire. The brand made its London Fashion Week debut in A/W 19 as part of Fashion East. In 2019, Ogunlesi held her first solo exhibition, *Silent Madness*, at NOW Gallery. In June 2020, she was appointed design director for Kanye West's Yeezy brand.
