Mugler

About

Mugler is a fashion and fragrance house established in 1973 by Thierry Mugler, a designer born in Strasbourg. The brand's first collection, 'Café de Paris,' introduced Mugler's vision of the Parisian woman, blending classic styles with futuristic elements and exaggerated silhouettes to create a unique, modern aesthetic. In 1978, Mugler opened his first boutique in Paris and expanded into menswear. The brand further diversified into fragrances in 1992, the same year as its first haute couture collection. 'Angel,' a patchouli-based perfume with notes of praline and chocolate, became one of the most successful fragrances ever. Mugler now offers a wide array of perfumes including 'Alien' and 'Angel Men.' Nicola Formichetti served as creative director from September 2010, overseeing Sebastien Peigné for womenswear and Roman Kremer for menswear. In December 2017, American designer Casey Cadwallader took over as creative director.
