Sandy Liang

About

Sandy Liang is a Chinese-American fashion brand known for its hyper-feminine clothing and accessories. The brand's aesthetic blends girlish playfulness with a touch of wistful nostalgia, creating a uniquely cool and stylish vibe. Liang's designs often incorporate bows, rosettes, and other motifs inspired by her childhood interests, such as Japanese animation and childhood toys, resulting in pieces that are both distinctive and wearable. Her initial inspiration stemmed from her upbringing in Queens, New York, and her exposure to the 'Chinatown grandmas' surrounding her father's restaurant. Since graduating from Parsons School of Design, she has built a successful brand, marked by collaborations with Vans, Salomon, and Baggu, and the opening of a flagship store in Manhattan. The brand's success is also evident in the high resale value of some of its limited-edition items. Recently, Sandy Liang expanded its product line to include home decor items and its first collection of high heels, maintaining the brand's signature feminine and playful aesthetic.
